It really was awful, terrible editing and dear god, how many times are you going to have him say the phrase "guns, germs and steel" ? Saying it over and over does not add content to this film. by the third part I was embarrassed for the director and producer, most especially the editor. I was under the impression there might have been some sort of drugs involved somewhere along the line. Things just slammed together for the sake of finishing, it seemed.

Now this is not to take away from a great book or great author, I highly recommend the book.

My real estate (my own home and two rentals) on the other hand has fared well and will be my retirement. You make money on a house when you buy it, not when you sell it. My properties where good deals upon purchase and had equity from the start. This usually means there is something cosmetically wrong with it that scares off the regular buyer. Real estate is a good deal if you do your research and keep emotion out of the business.
