One question it does bring up though is about issues such as "information repression", as in the case of Australia, who's FSI is listed as "sustainable" (at a decent 25.9), but is also a place I would be hesitant to give a full "open" recommendation to due to recent overzealous censorship movements.

That said, I wonder what it is about the Scandinavian area of the world that makes it apparently conducive toward seemingly decent governance? It just seems odd that so many of the "better performers" are so closely clustered together geographically.
